Colorado Rapids Vs Santos Laguna, Tonight
Colorado is going to play in Mexico with a strong squad against Santos Laguna in a do-or-die tilt tonight.
After the 2-1 home defeat against Real Madrid in the Champions League, the Colorado Rapids coaches and players all but admitted their CCL dream was over.
Now the Rapids could qualify for the quarterfinal stage of the tournament with a Win in Mexico against Santos Laguna tonight (8 pm ET, Fox Soccer).
A victory of 3-1 over Isidro Metapán in El Salvador was what turned the tables and gave the defending MLS Cup Champions, finishing 2nd in Group B behind Santos Laguna.
The traveling squad has a strong air about this game and head coach is also with the team.
"The starting lineup is not going to be that much different than it was last friday against Real Salt Lake" mifielder Jeff Larentowicz said.

Jeff looks set to start in central midfielder with Ross Labauex, himself an important player for the Colorado Rapids this year. Will be Pablo Mastroeni and Jamie Smith who are staying to mend their injuries.
The players who did make the trip to Mexico include back line stalwarts Kosuke Kimura, Marvell Wynne and Drew Moore, on the defense will be Scott Palguta. The Colorado Rapids will need a strong performance to contain a Santos Laguna that destroyed them 4-1 in their previous CCL outing.
Jamie Smith said that they have the opportunity in 90 minutes of football to qualify for the quarterfinals of the Champions League, at this point, it's been a hard road with difficulties and stress involved.
