Recently I bought CleanMyMac to free my iMac from unnecessary files and make it work faster since it is pretty old and laggy. After two weeks and half of using it I decided to share my impressions and thoughts with other people, so here is my clean mac review.

At first I was afraid that CleanMyMac may clean up some necessary files and that will corrupt my OS X installation and installed Mac Software. But then I’ve read its User Guide and found that it cleans only unnecessary files and does no harm to the system at all. So I installed CleanMyMac, pressed Scan and then Clean.

To my surprise, CleanMyMac found and cleaned 17 GB of useless data on my 250 GB partition. This is a huge amount of space for me. However, after the app successfully tried to clean up my Mac I didn’t immediately feel that the machine started to run smoother. But it turned out I just had to reboot it.

After restart the performance of my old iMac increased significantly. Various Mac software like Adobe Photoshop and Final Cut Pro X now launch way faster. But my friends warned me that system may still crash suddenly because of a problem I may even not know about. So before writing this CleanMyMac review I’ve waited for some time to watch after my iMac. Now I can report that I didn’t face any problems or errors over that period and still enjoy working on my Mac machine.

With this CleanMyMac review I just want to confirm that CleanMyMac is a piece of software you can rely on, since it is really able to clean up your Mac thoroughly and safely.
