The economical crisis and all the financial problems the EU is facing at the moment are very disturbing for many business/men and women. So, you should try to change the way your business works in such a way that for these companies to be cheaper to hire you than dealing with the certain problem alone. 

The example I am about to give is related with the cleaning services. 

They are something that is not very important and does not reflect on the way the business goes, but for the daily live in the company, they are crucial. Want it or not, the companies will need cleaners and it depends on you to win this place for yourself. 

Here is how I think this can happen.

  Hire people on lower static salaries. This will lower your prices significantly and will motivate the workers. They still will be able to earn their money, but they will have to work harder for them.

  Find new suppliers for the cleaning detergents. The chance for your supplier to sell you not cheap enough is big, so reconsider the contract and if there is something you think you can change, negotiate for it. 

Try to save money on car fuel. If your car be modified to work with cheaper fuel, like gas for example, do that. You will return the investment very fast. 

So, if you want your clients to hire you, but not some cleaners Ladbroke Grove, you should offer better prices and at least the same quality. 

However, if you want to take more of the market, you will need to stimulate your clients with some kind of promotions. This way you will get the customers even from the cleaners Ladywell, who are pretty popular these days.
