Clean Your Kitchen The Green Way

Cleaning the kitchen is often being connected with the use of harsh, toxic detergents, which may cause the pollution of your home environment. After all the kitchen is the place where we prepare our food, and no one would like a poisoned dish for dinner. There many other cleaning materials which you may use for maintaining the clean and fresh state of your kitchen.

The green cleaners, are the products that you frequently add to your meals, but this time I am going to talk, how to use them for dealing with another problem, which is mainly cleaning your house. The powers of lemon, vinegar and baking soda are really amazing, when it comes to cleaning. Lots of cleaners in Melbourne really don’t really know about the cleaning wonders which you can achieve, using only those three.

For starters, lemon juice and vinegar have a high acidity level, which makes washing greasy dishes easy as pie. By simply adding the freshly squeezed juice from 1 lemon, to your everyday dishwashing soap, you can make it more efficient, and the cleaning will get easier for sure. Except for that, a nice lemon scent will be added as a bonus to your hard work.

Baking soda – this is our ancestors favorite. And it makes perfect sense why. The thick paste created from baking soda and a small amount of water, is ideal for scrubbing purposes. With it, you can easily scrub away any greasy grill, plate or stain of any kind. Sprinkle baking soda on a fresh stain, wait for it to sit for a while, 5-10 minutes perhaps, and then by pouring just a little bit of white vinegar, gently rub the stain away. Another use of baking soda is as an odour removal tool. If the problem is a smelly carpet – sprinkle baking soda over it, and let it sit overnight. If you are dealing with smells from your canalization system, pour a cup of baking soda, followed by ½ cup of white vinegar. Wait for a while, afterwards rinse wit hot water, and the problem should be gone.

Green cleaners are gaining their popularity once again. Even cleaning services Melbourne and other large cleaning companies are using them in their line of work. This is understandable. Items like vinegar and baking soda, are easy to be found, and are being sold on a fairly low price. The other plus is, that they are ecologically-friendly, and don’t cause harm to the environment. Not to mention that they will not pollute your kitchen, like other cleaning agents
