'Canelo is No Match for Mayweather' says Roger Mayweather
Manila, Philippines - Roger Mayweather who is the trainer and also the uncle of undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather Jr. is not keen on a match between Floyd and Mexican Boxer prodigy Saul Canelo Alvarez.
Saul Alvarez defeated veteran middleweight Kermit Cintron in a 5th round technical knockout las saturday in Mexico City, and the young boxer called out Mayweather after his fight.
But the trainer of Mayweather, Roger told his nephew will be too much for Canelo Alvarez.
"He can go in the ring and he likes to be like Floyd, he can come in like Floyd if he wants to, but he ain't no match for Floyd" Roger said in a Boxing Scene Interview.

Alvarez has been through 39 professional bouts, however boxing analysts have said that he has not defeated any boxer of note.
Roger Mayweather says his nephew will be better off fighting explosive Marcos Maidana the Argentinian boxer.
"He's an aggressive type of fighter and he has a win over a major fighter" Roger said.
Floyd Mayweather is coming off a controversial 4th round knockout victory over Victor Ortiz, and he is planning to be back in the ring on may 5th next year against welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao.
