I won Out of Oz: The Final Volume in the Wicked Years by Gregory Maguire and am happy to pay it forward in a giveaway! The first bestselling novel in this series, Wicked, inspired the Broadway musical. If you love all the characters from The Wizard of Oz, then you will want to see that musical. It gave me chills and I’m addicted to the soundtrack.

Out of Oz is the fourth and final book in the series based on those characters. A lot of times series novels work well as stand-alone books; however, I believe you would benefit from having read at least the first couple of books from the series before reading this one. That said, there are synopses of the first three books at the beginning of this one to help new readers catch up as well as genealogies, maps and other helpful information.
