NEVER SEEN. An essential show for photography buffs, Bettie Page fans, Pin Up fans and more. Information here in the invitation. Rossi worked in isosation and never showed the photos he took in public, choosing instead to create his own colorful works with tints and paint. Bettie Page apprears in photos along with an interractial group of models at a time when posing in the nude was illegal. The photographers who participated in the camera club outsings (some which were raided by police) helped create the moder day pin up and modern erotic photography. A rare opportunity to see a fashin icon, her model friends and more in an unusual show which mixes photography with painting and girls! The photos have been printed in the new book Camera Club Girls by jim Linderman, it is available from Blurb.com and some copies will be at the exhibition. Most of the works are 8 x 10 and all were developed by hand in Rossi's amateur darkroom. Some of the individual, one-of-a-kind works, all over 50 years old, will be available for purchase at the exhibition.
