New Apple iPod nano 6th Generation available in six colors and 8GB or 16GB capacities. The iPod nano 6th Generation is like a tiny iPod touch. Almost half the size of the previous model, the 6th generation iPod nano features Multi-Touch display, a clip (to eliminate need for armbands), hard volume buttons, and a 24-hour battery life.

"I've owned a lot of iPods. I owned the last two generations of the shuffle and both had some pretty massive drawbacks. The one with the button was my favorite of the two which allowed for easy navigation as long as you didn't want to work with play lists. Then they came out with a very small one without the button and, when I reviewed this shuffle, I was not kind at all to it.

When Apple had their announcement I was hoping they would renew the shuffle with the button. My old one with the button had died and I hated the really thin one. But I lost all interest in the shuffle when I saw Steve Jobs announce this new Nano.

I've never bought a Nano in the past because they were kind of big and you had to have accessories to use it. The funny thing is that I run with an iPod Touch, which did suffer from the same problems, which is why I wanted to newer shuffle. But now the Nano has no only been cut into half the size, it has a clip on the back like a shuffle (thus negating the need of accessories to exercise with it) AND it is touch screen which makes finding and playing play lists extremely easy! Plus, the extra apps it comes with (like FM radio, photos, clock, and pedometer) adds a lot of value to this. Yes, it is three times the cost of a new shuffle (which I bought for my wife) but it is WORTH IT.

I've been using it fairly non-stop since it came in and I have zero complaints. I clip it to my shorts when I run and since you can rotate the screen it makes it easy to use no matter which angle you view it at. It is very light-weight and does not irritate me like running with my iPod always did. It is the perfect exercise companion!

I have small complaints, but they aren't worth listing as they truly are minor. Apple has redeemed themselves from the shuffle fiasco with this new Nano and I could not be happier! Great work, Apple!" By James Duckett
