Ballpark E-Guides: A Cool Way to Get Around the Major Leagues!

If you are like me, you love baseball. One of the best things for me about writing articles on the sport has been discovering just how many passionate people there are in the baseball community. In addition, I have found many useful, creative and really cool tools available to help others enjoy the game we all love.

Recently, I was lucky enough to come across Ballpark E-Guides. Kurt Smith over at the Ballpark E-Guides website has put together a must-have for any fan attending a game in one of many baseball stadiums across the country. If you are traveling to a major league ball park, you really should take a minute to check out Kurt’s website as he has done all of the leg work for you before you ever get to the ballpark.

Whether it is your first or one-hundred-and-first visit to a ballpark, Kurt has put together a guide so full of tips, there is literally something for everyone to discover.

I had the opportunity to check out the Ballpark E-Guide for Yankee Stadium and I wanted to share with you just how cool this guide is for any baseball fan.

The guide begins by detailing the history of Yankee Stadium including the best places to visit once inside to learn about the history of the franchise. If you want to learn about the greats such as Mantle, Ruth, Gehrig, DiMaggio and Jackson, the Yankee Stadium Ballpark E-Guide will point you in the right direction.

Looking for the best food in the stadium? Look no further than Kurt Smith’s guide as he will make sure you know just where to get the best steak sandwich, burger or deli sandwich in the park. If you would like to find out more about a Lobel’s Steak Sandwich or a Johnny Rocket burger, the Ballpark E-Guide will point the way. If you are interested, Smith also details the best local restaurants, sports bars and taverns for before and after the game (keeping in mind it is the Bronx after dark!).

Worried about getting to the ballpark? Fear not, as the guide will show you the best options for bus, train, subway or car. Looking for tickets? The E-Guide details everything from the most affordable seats to the most expensive (Smith’s categories range from “Bargain Basement” to “Holy Cow, Scooter” in cost).

Perhaps one of the best features of the Ballpark E-Guide is the recurring $ Tightwad Tips $ notes which feature some easy ways to save money on the necessities of attending a baseball game.

If you love baseball and especially love attending games in person, you won’t want to head to the park without your handy Ballpark E-Guide to help make your experience at the ballgame the best it possibly can be.

Ballpark E-Guides are available for Fenway Park, Oriole Park at Camden Yards and Yankee Stadium in the American League. National League parks available are Citi Field, Citizens Bank Park and Nationals Park with more to come shortly.

Take a minute to look into Kurt Smith’s website, Ballpark E-Guides. You'll be glad you did.
