Whisper it quietly (counter-intuitive, I know), but Put Right is now up for sale on Amazon. You can find it here.
It's up there so that we can assess the whole upload process and iron out any gremlins. Apart from a couple of minor layout issues, there don't appear to be any.
The next three novels in the series are in their final edit stages and my objective is to have them all loaded and ready for a marketing push beginning September 3rd. But you're free, of course, to download Put Right before then and tell me what you think. Tell the world if you like and leave a review on Amazon.
But why wait before beginning the marketing? Well, research tells me that it's better to have a series of books available so that if people like your characters they can go straight in to your back catalogue and buy another book. Then another. And so on.
As a marketeer it's been an interesting process from a professional standpoint. I've learned a lot about the strengths and weaknesses of social media and, assuming I build up readers, will learn a whole deal more. But right now I'm utterly unconvinced about the value of twitter - blogging and Pinterest strike me as much more useful on many fronts. Time will tell, of course.
PS. You can find the Tom Paver author page on Amazon here...
