AMD leaves the benchmark organization, BAPCo

The gathering of big hardware companies in BAPCo develops benchmarks that can be used to measure and calculate PC performance.
BAPCo is the company that is behind one of the most known benchmark applications, SYSmark.
Though the issue from AMD’s point of view, is that the benchmark of their products gives a wrong impression of their performance.
Another key part that AMD is on about is that SYSmark doesn’t count in the graphics processor performance. ( Maybe because there are other benchmark programs for that ? 3DMark ? )
Already 9 years ago there was trouble about SYSmark 2002, where AMD accused that the benchmark application favored Intel Pentium 4 at that time.
So bottom line is, that AMD does not want to participate in BAPCo anymore, because it seems that they are “still” favoring Intel instead of AMD.
Now AMD will try to get in a new “Neutral” benchmarker on the field, but they won’t give anymore information on how.
