"We are all aware of the age we live in and where we can all stay in touch through the Internet, no matter how distant, The Jaguares team launched a new campaign and carried out different activities linked with www.twitter.com according to a statement from the Club".
140 characters are enough to decide which side you're on, the club added. Most of the Club's home page is dedicated to it's social media activities , with a feed tracking mentions of the team's handle, @soyjaguar.
According to Jaguares Wikipedia's Page. the club was founded in June 2002, with a reputation of freshness. Now they are posting a player's Twitter handle on the back of the jersey. However, they're not the first team to take Twitter to the pitch, as Valencia recently donned the club's official account on the front of their shirts in place of a sponsor.
