2010 Tennessee Titans: NFL Schedules, Predictions and Odds

The Tennessee Titans were the top seed in the AFC in 2008 only to fall flat on their face out of the gate last year and miss the playoffs. The Titans will be looking to return to the post season and have a solid shot to get off on the right foot with an opening game on the 2010 NFL schedule at home against the Oakland Raiders on September 12th. It gets much tougher on September 19th when the Titans host the Pittsburgh Steelers, one of the NFL betting favorites to win the AFC conference. The Titans will then travel to New York to take on a Giants team also looking for a comeback season on September 26th. Online sportsbooks have the Titans 30-1 longshots in 2011 Super Bowl odds to win the championship, 14-1 to win the AFC conference and have an over/under regular season win total of 8.5 UNDER (-125).
Tennessee returns home for the 3rd time in 4 weeks as they will host the Denver Broncos on October 3rd. Tennessee opens the second quarter of the 2010 NFL schedule with a very tough game at Dallas on October 10th as the Cowboys are among the favorites in NFL odds to win the NFC conference. That is followed by an October 18th Monday Night football game at AFC South rival the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Philadelphia Eagles will visit Tennessee on October 24th and the Titans will then travel to face the San Diego Chargers for another tough game against an AFC favorite on October 31st before enjoying a week 9 bye.
The Titans will open the second half of their NFL schedule at the Miami Dolphins on November 14th followed by a November 21st home game against the Washington Redskins to make for two winnable games. The Houston Texans will host the Titans in what could be a critical AFC South match-up on November 28th before Jacksonville comes calling on December 5th in yet another AFC South match-up. The final quarter of the campaign starts vs the Indianapolis Colts with a big Thursday Night game on December 9th in another huge AFC South showdown. Tennessee will close the home season against Houston on December 19th. The final two games are on the road at the Kansas City Chiefs on December 26th and at Indianapolis on January 2nd in which a playoff spot could be on the line.
