2010 St. Louis Rams: NFL Schedules, Predictions and Odds

The 2010 St. Louis Rams, fresh off a 1-15 season in NFL betting odds and a longshot at online sportsbooks for nearly any level of success, will have a decent shot at improving on their win total from 2009 as they will open the 2010 NFL schedule with 3 out of their first 4 games at home beginning on September 12th against the defending NFC West champion and division rival Arizona Cardinals. That is followed by a September 19th trip to face the Oakland Raiders. Online sportsbooks have the Rams 110-1 longshots in 2011 Superbowl odds to win the championship, 80-1 to win the NFC conference and an over/under regular season win total of 4.5 OVER (-125).
The Washington Redskins will visit on September 26th and then division foe the Seattle Seahawks will come calling on October 3rd to make for winnable games in NFL odds for the first quarter of the slate. The Rams have another winnable game on October 10th at the Detroit Lions before hosting the San Diego Chargers on October 17th in a game in which they will be heavy underdogs at online sportsbooks. St. Louis has yet another winnable game at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on October 24th and then hosts the Carolina Panthers on Halloween to complete the schedule’s first half with a bye on the week 9 NFL schedule to follow.
The Rams kick off the second half of the 2010 NFL schedule with 4 road games in 5 weeks starting at the NFC West favorite San Francisco 49ers on November 14th. That is followed by a home game against the Atlanta Falcons on November 21st. The Rams then hit the road for three straight weeks beginning on November 28th at the Denver Broncos, then December 5th at the Arizona Cardinals and December 12th at the world champion New Orleans Saints. The final three weeks start at home with a game against cross-state rival the Kansas City Chiefs on December 19th and then the home finale against San Francisco on December 26th. The 2010 NFL schedule finale is at the Seattle Seahawks on January 2nd. If the Rams cannot show improvement with this schedule, there should be serious cause for concern.
