The 2010 San Diego Chargers will be gunning for their third consecutive AFC West Championship and are among the NFL betting favorites at online sportsbooks to win the AFC conference. San Diego’s 2010 NFL schedule sets up nicely for a great start. On September 13th the Chargers open the season at a young Kansas City Chiefs team that has new coordinators and is still very much in the rebuilding stage. It’s the second game of a Monday Night Football doubleheader. Online sportsbooks have the Chargers 9-1 favorites in 2011 Super Bowl odds to win the championship, 5-1 to win the AFC conference and have an over/under regular season win total of 10.5 OVER (-140).

The Chargers will then host the Jacksonville Jaguars on September 19th before traveling to the rebuilding Seattle Seahawks on September 26th. San Diego will then host Arizona on October 3rd as the Cardinals break in a new starting QB. Another winnable game in NFL odds is on October 10th at the down and out Oakland Raiders and then the Chargers will travel to St. Louis to face the Rams who were 1-15 last year on October 17th. A far tougher game is on October 24th as the New England Patriots will pay a visit. The first half of the 2010 NFL schedule will end with a home game against the Tennessee Titans on Halloween. San Diego will kickoff week 9 at the Houston Texans on November 7th before taking a week 10 bye.

The Chargers will return to the 2010 NFL schedule on November 22nd with a Monday Night game against their AFC West rival the Denver Broncos. They will then travel to Indianapolis for a Sunday Night football showcase against the AFC champion Colts that will be a huge draw at online sportsbooks. The Oakland Raiders then visits on December 5th. The final quarter of the Chargers schedule begins with a December 12th home rematch against Kansas City. A Thursday game follows on December 16th at home against NFC contender the San Francisco 49ers.
