1. There are no less than 920.000 insects, 6.000 reptiles, 6.723 amphibians and 4.260 mammals in the world. At most species, the male is bigger than the female. Well, this is not the case of anacondas, where things are totally different as the female is from 3 to 5 times bigger than the male.

2. The Arctic Fox, or the Polar Fox, is the only fox species that changes color with the seasons. Therefore, in winter it is white to blend in with snow, while during summer it changes to brown. This is one smart way of camouflaging and many animals developed special adaptations that let them change their coloration as their surroundings change.
